Vacation Time

Vacation is very important when you work a lot. Everyone should take time away from the everyday hustle and do something that is relaxing and carefree. I chose to use this Memorial Week to spend time in Hilton Head Island with my family. The vacation was well needed and I am so happy that I got a chance to get away and do something different from just staying around town when I take time off from work. I feel well-rested and super relaxed while being in a new environment. I encourage you to spend some time in a new and different place so that you can be stress-free and relaxed. I posted a photo that my niece made for her photos of our vacation. I wanted to make sure that we had enough time to tour the island and photograph as must of the island that we can. It has been a pleasure to be away from the norm and get out to do something that I want to do. I look forward to going to work with a different mindset now that I have taken some time away to do something different and go somewhere outside of home.

My Baby is All Grown-Up

My baby is all grown-up. I can't believe that my niece is almost out of High School. Here is a photo of my niece Christina Bailey going to her Junior Prom. We are so proud of our little Princess. She is the Best Niece anyone could ask for~ I try to spend as much time with her and my nephew Cody because they have grown up so fast. I am blessed to have them in my life!! They are the Best!!

I take out this time to acknowledge the youngsters in my life because I have not started on my own family yet. My niece, nephew and little brother came into my life while I was a pre-teen and with them always around seeking my attention, left no room for me to begin having children. I also think the kids in my family think I am their personal bank. I am so proud of all of them. My little brother is now a full-time student in college as well as my nephew and my niece is in her last year of High School. My mother is taking them to Hilton Head for family vacation and I am very sure that they are looking forward to it!! My mom spoils them all! They are still babies to her. I am looking forward to spending time with my family in one of favorite spots in the world-Hilton Head Islands. Use this Summer to bond and vacation with your family. Family is so important and it helps to mold each individual to be who they are to be in their lives!! I hope everyone has a wonderful Summer and Memorial Holiday!!

The Pathway to Your Life!!

What pathway are you taking in your life? We often following the path of others and never think about the path that we want to take for ourselves. I am taking some time to go away for a vacation with my family and while I am away I will be making some time to decide where I want to be in my life in the 5 years. I will be rejuvenated when I come back which will help me to move forward with the plans that I have for my life. I am also going to make some changes in my life when I return. I have a few more people that I need to let go of and a few things in my lifestyle that must be changed. I am actually looking forward to releasing people and things that do not belong in my life any longer. I am tired of other people telling me what they think I should do with my life to fit in with their life. I had a friend who told me that because I was not married and I had no kids that I had no responsibilities. I thought that was a very stupid and ignorant comment to make to someone like me. I have had responsibilities way before I was 15 years of age. I am not one who likes to be put in a box by no one and that so-called friend was way out of line. If she wants me to be miserable because she is miserable with her life, I would rather have new friends who are not so closed-minded and controlled by other people. I have learned so much in my life and I am so blessed that I have chosen to live my life the way I see fit and not by the way that others think I should. I am so happy to let all of you know that you determine what your path in life is going to be and do not allow other people to dictate your life for you. You be You and follow your own path!!

The End of the World?

The End of the World?????

No one but, God knows when the end of the world's date. It is very important that you have a stronger relationship with God so that you are not moved by everything that other people tell you. You have nothing to worry about because Jesus covered it already with his blood. We have to make sure that we are in line with the Word of God for ourselves and let Him work through you to be the person He made you to be. I am not saying that the End of the World is tomorrow, today or weeks from now-only Gods knows. What I do know is that all of us have something to do in this world we live in now and we need to seek it from God. We have to stop living our lives the way other people want us to live and live how God wants us to live. We need to step away from people, things, thoughts and habits that keep us from being who God created us to be and we need to find a to stay away from it. Today, I took a scenic walk for aerobic exercise and I kept saying in my head that I need to find my happiness and all of a sudden I looked up at the trees above my head and I realized that my happiness is within me. Happiness is all around me and throughout my life. Please don't think that money buys happiness or that another person can give you happiness-only you are responsible for your own happiness. Life is what you make it and you have the choice to make it the BEST Life Ever!!

Sisters

My sister and I were out at a Los Loros for Cinco de Mayo and had a blast!! The one thing we never take for granted is our relationship. Blood is thicker than water and when you need a person who will be there for you, family is always first. I enjoy spending time with my sister and I enjoy when we have a good time doing fun things. We have always been close and I have always been taller than her even though I am the youngest. We have been through everything together and we really enjoy each other's company. Never take advantage of your family and always spend time with them. Life is too short to waste on people who don't care for you or looking out for your best interest. Take the time today to spend time with a family member and enjoy their presence and spread some love. What this world needs today is love!!!

This is the Day

This is the day that the Lord has made and I am rejoicing and being glad in it!! I have been MIA for the last few weeks due to working really hard on launching my New Fall 2010 Handbag Collection as well as recording with my brother a few tracks to help him in launching his business ventures. I am a true believer that if you do what makes you happy in life, you will be happy. I love my job but, I have other things I enjoy doing that make me happy as well. I have also taken some time from blogging to work on a book about being positive and setting realistic goals for your life. I have also been on a 30-day plan to make changes in my life and so far it has been very good for me but, a real Challenge. Join me in the next few weeks as I take on a New Challenge that involves Careers, Love and Life!!
