Fall Family Vacay
Boy, how time flies!!! We just sent my niece down to Statesboro a few months ago and we come back down for Friends & Family Weekend to a grown woman. My entire family came with the exception of my dad, little brother and nephew. Everyone else was in tow. My mother and grandmother were there along with a host of cousins, grand aunts, her Granny & Papa, and two of her closest friends on the pictures above. The girls went clubbing every night and the family enjoyed Savannah and Tybee Island. I was so happy to spend time with my child. She got a tattoo and dyed her hair. I guess she wanted to have her own look and be her own person. I am so proud of her and I hope that she is on her best behavior. I always say to make sure that you spend time with your family as often as you can. It is so important to have a close-knit family who you can enjoy and communicate with. I love love love my family and I hope that the next trip is as Fab as this last one we just had. Happy Birthday to my sweet child Christina-who turned 19 on September 30th. I am getting older-lol!!!
Love Always,

Family~~
Family is so important. We need to have someone to rely on when times get tough. We really enjoy each other's company when we are together-no matter the occasion. We have so much to be grateful for and with family, we are constantly reminded how blessed we are to have great people who love us unconditionally. We learn how to deal with each other's personalities, so that we can understand the differences and similarities we share. Family is such an important base for love and comfort. Take time out today to love your family.
Love,

Vacations~~

I got a little carried away waiting for my mother to get dressed and started taking pictures of myself to pass time until we left out for dinner. We had dinner at my favorite restaurant in Savannah called Spanky's. I love their Cod and the atmosphere. It is right on the River on River Street and it has the best view. We ate dinner and enjoyed the last day of our trip to Tybee Island. We enjoyed ourselves and it was needed. Some times I get over-worked and worked up and never take the time to revive myself which leads me to stress out and get frustrated about the smallest things. This vacation was really needed and I feel refreshed and ready to handle anything. I am planning another vacation to follow-up from this one. I enjoyed spending time with my mother and seeing the beautiful homes and scenery in Savannah. I have been plenty of times, but never got a chance to really enjoy it like I did this vacation. I hope you take a trip soon and go somewhere, anywhere just to get away and take a break from the everyday stress and strain of life-You deserve it!!

Out to RuSan's!!

Heading out to one of my favorite Japanese Restaurants with my friend. My favorite spot for Japanese is RuSan's close to Little 5 Points. I love love love their Katsu California Rolls and they have the best Shrimp Fried Rice. I love going out to dinner and enjoying the hopspots in my town. I just hate the traffic. Atlanta has become so over-populated that it takes a long time to get to places around the city. I love my city, but I have seen many changes with the people in the last 10 years. Atlanta used to be a friendly city, but their are so many northerners moving down here and bringing their harsh and cold demeanor to this city. This used to be a place where you could wave at your neighbor or speak to them, now you get cold looks from people when you say a simple "Hello". Now that Atlanta has grown into this large southern city, we have lost out on our Southern Hospitality. Well, I am hoping that we get back to the place where people can wave and say "Hello" to one another again. I hope everyone has a great Spring and get out and enjoy your neighborhood.
Until Next Time,
Carmen~
