There are so many phony people in the world today. So many people trying to keep up with Joneses' (whoever they may be) and some just covering up the awful life they are currently living. I have a word to the wise, if you have friends or family members that are phony, it is not a good idea to be around these people for a long period of time because these people are also known to drain your energy. Think about this-if the phony person has all these wonderful things and this Grand Life then why do they brag about it? My only answer to that question is the fact that the phony person lacks self-confidence which leads them to brag about what they have or what they spend or how much money they have. I have a few people in my circle who are very insecure about themselves-they have to make up for it by constantly trying to win you over with something they bought or an expensive item they bought themselves. It is always something with these type of people. They have to be known for being something other than what they are!! I love the fact that I have no reason to brag and I would not brag. I teach the kids in my family not to brag because bragging is for those people who need attention and suffer from low-self esteem. Phony people have to create a life that doesn't exist so they themselves will exist. Truth of the matter, phony people suck your energy and what good is it to associate yourself with these people for?? I had to learn the hard way and I hope that I help you before it is too late. Stop hanging with people who are phony-they will never change!!!!
