Day Trips!!

These photos were taken when a friend and I went to the Botanical Gardens in Atlanta. I work at a Museum so some times, I like to go to other places similar to where I work. I love the Botanical Gardens-it is one of my favorite places to go in the city. My next best spot is the Michael Carlos Museum on Emory Campus. I love going to these two places because they both pique my interests. Another quiet-kept spot is Fernbank Science Center & Forest. The is a Nature Trail at the Science Center that I love to walk through. The admission is free and the site-seeing is fantastic. I love spending time walking through the Forest and taking loads of photos. I had to add in Day Trips to my blog because a lot of people are not able to take vacations. So sometimes, day trips is all that available for some people. I take a drive to Pine Mountains, Callaway Gardens as often as I can just to get away from the everyday scene. My mom took my entire family to Pine Mountains for Christmas and rented a cabin for the week. We had so much fun and then it snowed. We were so excited to get away for the Holidays that we are looking to do it every Christmas Break. If you have kids, there is so much to do in the city of Atlanta. There is a City Pass deal were it includes admissions to all of Atlanta's top Attractions. It is the best thing to do when you can get away to visit another state. I have to say that my other favorite attraction is the Zoo-which I blog about pretty often. I get into most of these places for free because of my job and I am so grateful for that. I don't have kids but, I take the kids in my family to every attraction in the city as possible, so that they will be very well cultured. I would like to recommend that you go to sites like Access Atlanta and Groupon so that you can take advantage of what Atlanta has to offer if you are unable to leave town.
